How about a story of sending teens back from space to a nuclear war

Hey, "The 100" tv show went seven seasons with 100 episodes.

I am not sure if the book series was written before or after the tv
show. Looks like the first book in the series preceded the tv show.
You can watch all seven seasons of the tv show on Netflix.

The books definitely came before because the show credits included an
"inspired by" credit for them. But as with most adaptations the show
had little to do with the books beyond the title. From a report by one
of the regulars in r.a.tv the entire book series covers the first 24
hours after landing on Earth. Dat's it. And apparently was almost all
    teen angst soap opera. :D

I think I saw some of that. The first season maybe? It was your
standard "shot in and around Vancouver" SF series. The teen angle
allowed the casting of a lot of twenty-somethings at the start of
their career, when they are cheap. The lead was imported from
Australia. IIRC, in the first episode her Australian accent broke
through a few times, afterwards she passed for North American, at
    least to my ear.

Anyway, it was on US network TV, so it was very generic.

I am not sure if the book series was written before or after the tv
    show.

The TV show was definitely marketed as based on a book.

Yup, something is going on at Eternal September.

    Lynn

Ray replaced at least two of the E-S servers (there are three or four
E-S servers) at a new location about two weeks ago. The new DNS took a
long time to update for some of the ISPs, over a week for AT&T. One guy
was continuously complaining at news://news.eternal-september.org/eternal-september.support and
eventually found that he had hardwired the E-S reader and database IPv4 addresses into his localhosts file. Once he removed those, his problems
    went away.
