Any other Zeus weilding sysops out here. Apart from Neil and myself, I'm not sure if anyone is still using it.
version old.. I think I bought the software in the early 90's lol
sadly i lost source code for xenolink, all registred sysops have it, so there might be backups somewhere
How many of us on this network are running Zeus?

Besides you, CIA Amiga BBS is running it also... Not sure who else..
But does 1.8 fix some of the anoying bugs that have been reported, or
has Neil just given up... Its been years since it looked like any
thing was done.
There are quite a few of those that drive me mad on a daily basis. The
new message waiting issue is one that causes me the most grief.
I wish he would release the code. I would gladly love to go through it
and see if I could fix some of the issues.
That will also be tied onto the FTN mail processor, thinking area's/message are bad.
I'm slowly getting reacquainted with the system, and trying to remember how things work. I'm yet to find out how to have zeus remove files from it's database, when theyare no longer on the hd.
Is it a rexx script or util?

No, i'm refering to the new wiating mail in a netmail area, which
freezes the system.

FileManager (which is in the bin folder) with the EXISTS switch will do that for you.
I agree, I have never been a C-Net fan, but it is being worked on but I don't think the code has been released.
If Neil released the code for Zeus, at least we would have a few people who could help out fixing it's issues and adding stuff to it.
Yes, that would work as well. I would even be happy with anything new.
His system says it is running Zeus 1.8 where the rest of us are stuck
at 1.7.

imho zeus did get some of the xenolink developpers over to help make it better
I wish Neil would release the source code, I would love a chance to
work with it.
yes, atleast put in aminet released as is
hope Robert Dale can still upload xenolink there, but there is others
that can, but maybe not reading amiganet anymore
