For sysops that have fresh-installed Synchronet v3.20, they're likely to encounter an issue where by the cumulative statistics file (ctrl/csts.tab) is not created. The symptom of this is issue an error message displayed when trying to view historical statistics (log), e.g. via "slog" command/utility or when trying to view statistic history in the Synchronet Control Panel for Windows.
This issue has been fixed in the Synchronet source repository (e.g. for the next release, whenever that is), but in the mean time there is an easy work around: edit the file ctrl/dsts.ini and change the "Date" key in the root section to any non-zero value, e.g. from "Date=Never" to "Date=1". Upon making this change, the Synchronet event thread should quickly recognize a new date (logged as a "New Day") and then "rollover" the values from the dsts.ini file into the (newly-created) csts.tab file in the ctrl directory and each node directory.
For sysops that upgraded from any earlier version of Synchronet, their csts.dab file should've auto-converted to csts.tab and they don't need any workaround.
Thanks to Basis for the bug report.
