• Mageia 8 - Error Emacs + Flyspell

From Gilberto F da Silva@2:250/1 to All on Fri Jul 17 00:44:37 2020
I installed Mageia 8 over the network earlier today.

When trying to use Emacs with spellcheck I have the following error:

Error enabling flyspell mode: (stringp nil)

I removed the emacs packaged by Mageia, downloaded the emacs from
    here: http://gnu.c3sl.ufpr.br/ftp/emacs/emacs-26.3.tar.xz and
compiled. During compilation there were missing dependencies which
    were installed using mcc.

The compiled version worked without displaying the error message
    quoted.

And after updates/reboot does your media/repository video flickering
    problem still exists?

If so, does setting the vblank_mode=0 during boot clear up the problem.

I just now tested on my install and can not recreate the error.
It would be nice if editing a common file that we both have to verify
if the problem is language dependent or not.
