  • VeraCrypt Error message

    Saluton!

    I just installed Veracrypt. When you try to use it I obtained the following message:

    ./src/gtk/window.cpp(2443): assert "m_wxwindow" failed in AddChildGTK(): Cannot add a child to a window without a client area¡

    It's one of the packages impacted by https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29848

    Workaround for now is to install the wx* packages from core updates testing, though if any of the packages listed in that bug are being used, they also need to be updated from core updates testing. That, or wait until that bug is completed.
