On Sunday September 29th, 2019, starting around 12.00 UTC there will
be maintenance on the remaining infra in order to upgrade it to Mageia
7.
That means Mageia websites, gitweb, svnweb, wiki, forum, mailinglists,
mails to @mageia.org, ... will be shut down...
Since there are several things that need upgrading, it will take at
least several hours, or even a day or so depending on possible issues
to get it all finalized...
Note that blog.mageia.org will be available, so progress (or info
about delays) will be available there...

Based on my upgrade experience (failed - DVD & network) it will be a lot longer!
I have had to do a fresh install
Really wish they come out with a LTS version.

So it's quite possible that your mileage will vary from mine, In fact,
it's all but certain that it will. That's why I always advise a clean install as being most likely to be free of trouble.

Unfortunately a clean install is Guaranteed to be trouble-- you then
have to somehow resurect all fo the setting up of each program you did
over the past year or two on the previous version. So, potential
problems in upgrade vs gauranteed problems in clean install.
