Hi all,
usually I use mcc to update installed packages.
Installed is:
$ uname -a
Linux linuxnb1 6.6.18-desktop-1.mga9 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sat Feb 24
00:23:52 UTC 2024 i686 GNU/Linux
When I do a manual mgaapplet-update-checker, then I get something like
this:
$ mgaapplet-update-checker

Older kernels must be removed manually, or with the Remove Old Kernels
app.

No it just means that these are available with NO consideration as to
you hardware and system set up etc.
Just did the same with a long list of kernels and many old and not for
X64 CPU's etc.
But running updater there is a stack of updates available so installed
them and rerun it with similar comments for server, desktop, linus etc.
The results are the same even when using prefix sudo to run it.
Ignore them as not helpful - just run the normal updater - MageiaUpdate.
