From Daniel70@2:250/1 to All on Thu Apr 10 12:46:37 2025
Just looking at the Mageia support page ....

    https://www.mageia.org/en/support/

I noticed MGA 9 became unsupported about 10 days ago.

Any news on possible ETA of MGA 10??

    Thanks, guys.

Mageia 9 will be supported until 3 months after Mageia 10
is released. That is mentioned on the page you cite.

I have seen nothing on when Mageia will have an Alpha
release, much less a full release that would trigger the
    90 days of remaining support.

    Cheers!

It just means support will continue until 3 months after Mageia 10 is released.

The date shown is the earliest date support for Mageia 9 could have ended had Mageia 10
been released 3 or more months ago. It does not show the end of support when the next
release has not been out for at least 3 months.

As to when m10 will be released, it will be when it's ready, as always.

Production and testing of iso images for m10 has not started. I don't know when the
council will decide there are enough changes between m9 and what will be m10 to justify getting it started.

    Regards, Dave Hodgins

No, no! Do NOT "forget" Dave! He still contributes, just not as much as before.

    Yes, Correct, of course!! ;-P
