I have received a message from Bjorn Felten that he is experiencing
issues with his system hardware and he cannot make a prediction when
that will be solved.
He hopes no later than this coming Sunday.

Well, it took longer than I expected, but I'll get a new computer on Tuesday. I hope I can raise this Phoenix from the ashes once again.
For almost a month now, I've relied on my secure Fidonet hard drive to manage elementary Fidonet obligations, including Fidonews publishing.
ATM, I have a once-every-30-minute event that polls four of my major contacts. Hopefully, that way, I can repair one of the FidoWeb PoFs just until I get my new Dell Tower and restore this hub once again.
I also want to send my thanks to Andrew, who's been wrongfully accused
by a MAGA idiot in the FIDONEWS Echo for not performing properly. We've managed, Andrew; thank you!

Yeah, if you are concerned about the future of our museum piece,
the Fidonet, pay attention to all the gimme-gimme trolls infecting our hobby and join us in rooting them out.
I'll condense/summarize it for you:
Of the three of us, only one is an asshole.
That one is Bjorn.

In your opinion, you don't know that for a fact ...

I agree
I'm just new here. The only thing I see is that I expected more
respect from the older Fido people.
But it seems they don't have much to do, so they spend their time
swearing. --- SBBSecho 3.23-Linux
