    Though he has been out of the bbs scene for sometime he has kept his fingers
    in touch. Kenny is the developer of GAP bbs, a software that took off in the hey day of bbs'ing.

    Some of you old timers and I do mean old (20 plus years) will be familiar in using his GAP BBS software. I was recently informed by DesotoFireFlite of

    That really saddens me. I ran several GAP nodes long ago and being from Torrance, and having Lived in Dana Point for a year in 79/80 when I was 18, this really hits the bone where the notion of our mortality is concerned. Thank goodness we still have Ken Thompson, Bill Joy, and Tim Paterson, and The Woz.

    Yes, it saddens all of us. He was actively working on GAP again. Myself and Desotofirefilte are running GAP bbs. I'll leave mine up and so will the
    other sysop for a while.
