    well, there isn't much a problem with just 512, I have a portable console bookmarklet application that is about 8000 characters long. The 512 length bookmarklet must have an error in it, causing it to not work, try to debug it.

    If you have a bookmarklet in the ten thouthands, you can host the code on github and use jsdelivr to get a link to it. Then, make a bookmarklet that creates a script element and appends it to the document to run the script. (less than 100 characters)
