Hi All: Some of you may remember Clari News Groups from at least 1989-2012 which basicly had wire service articles. Well, both GigaNews-and-Easynews have many of these groups over a time period of 2004-2012. We found an archive of lots of .mbox files of each group, however, having the following struggles. Each dot mbox file has 1 long text of that particular group. I thought maybe we had to use something like "mb2md" but these mbox files are just ascii text. I would like to have them look-and-act like I would see them in a live Usenet session, where they are individual articles, like separate mail messages. We setup a folder collection with this in my .pinerc

These mbox files are in /home/chime/clari
I first see all these Clari groups in a nice index.
So I open that folder in alpine, it displays my machine domain-and-the last date that mbox was modified. If I click that link, I get a quite long single text I mentioned earlier.
It would seemingly be `alot of work to devide up these in to a format I mentioned a couple of minutes ago. Can any of you much more familliar please list any steps to make this work alot better. I suppose if some1 wanted to see a sample mbox file, I could send individually off-list, or post on my web-site. Thanks so much in advance

yes, could you post a file somewhere to see what its format is. that would help.

I actually rennamed from clari.world.top.mbox At least reading these groups on Usnet in Alpine, I don't have to see all these rediculous headers which are more than a waste of time, listening with a screen-reader. Thanks so much in advance for examining-and-eventually your suggestions.
