    pawing through documents – an E Ink monitor might be a better fit.

    Would need to see a video of it updating. If it does the classic e-ink
    "flash to black" to do any update, then absolutely no thanks whatsoever
    as a computer monitor. I won't have/use a kindle due to the flash to
    black, I damn sure am not using a computer monitor that does the same
    crap.

    Not sure I understand why. Don’t you know about brightness controls?

    They don't work. I turned mine up all the way on the TV and the programs
    are still all stupid.
