    Even with 3 GB memory - and I confirmed that I can
    allocate 1.6 GB in two blocks - and memory requests
    appear to be 4k aligned now - I seem to have a limit
    of something like 74,000 individual (small) requests
    for memory. Could be less as I'm not tracking frees.

    Is that limit configurable?

    The overhead of 4k is merely 300 MB so shouldn't be
    an issue.

    Since Warp 4.5x (or was it 4.0?) the smallest memory allocation object
    is 64k. At least that is how I understand the latest docs on that.
