"Protect the dungeons!" That's the goal. Hire and
equip monsters and place traps, fighting off the
invaders in strategic side-view combat. And then
hope those monsters don't go on strike. More akin
to a casual game than deep strategy, it's not very
heavy on content and too much of that is locked
behind DLC. Still, if you need a modest time-waster
to briefly occupy you between "Crusader Kings"
campaigns, this might be the palette cleanser
you need.
