Definitely not my thing. While I can admire the game from a technical standpoint - getting it to run on a 6502 is impressive! - I find thatActually it is a game fallen out of time, it would have made huge waves
style of game just too repetitive for my liking. I've always needed
narrative and purpose beyond getting a high score to keep my interest.
And - nice as the soundtrack is - the lack of variety in music would
drive me mad in short order. Just listening to it for five minutes on
the video and I'm tired of it already. I can't imagine playing an
entire game listening to that same track repeating endlessly...

get that people enjoy that thing and - intellectually - can even

I just rediscovered YOOMP, a fun little polish game from 2008 for the

Played it an hour yesterday, after having to figure out for 30 minutes

Fun fact btw. it is one of the titles integrated in the Atari 400 mini computer just released!
You can download it legally here: https://yoomp.atari.pl/
YOOMP itself is a technical marvel given the system it runs on,

<Captain America>
I understood that reference.
</Captain America>
I wonder how many people purchased Loom because of that NPC.
(Not me, though. I played "Loom" before I got to "Monkey Island")
