My wife keeps reminding my it's May the fourth. But I haven't done
anything SW related so far. My 7 year old self would be very
disappointed in me.

No, I always preferred Star Trek. The last Star Wars action game I
played was either Tie Fighter or Dark Forces, whichever one came out
last in the 90s. :-P

I've done exactly one SW thing being a comic but
I checked Disney+ and found there was a new animated series "Tales of
the Empire" and watched the first episode. It's got Grievous so it
isn't empire yet, false advertising, and found it tolerable at best.
Grievous was laughing a lot, which doesn't seem to fit from what I
remember.
I think it's just been too overdone at this point (well for some time.) Waiting for something good at this point. Maybe next season of
Mandalorian if there is one.

Well, good luck. I think I've only watched Episode 4.

I've gone back and forth. I'm definitely more Star Trek at the moment.
When I was a kid before Star Wars, obviously Star Trek. But Star Wars
was so big and impressive it won me over for a long time.
Philosophically I prefer Star Trek as they always try to portray a
better future, even if it's filled with existential threats, the
Federation is way better than anything we have now in how it's
governance treats their own people, and people treat each other. It's
also had a far greater effect on our own society.
It's also much less Fantasy than SW. Sure it's got fantastic Sci-Fi in
it, but SW is Fantasy with spaceified naval & air battles, and trappings
of Sci-Fi.
I'm still salty that after the newer reboot ST movies all the phasers
are pew pew blasters though.

I binged watched it yesterday. It was decent. Its ending went too fast though.

Didn't play any Star Wars games but did work on the large Lego
Millennium Falcon some. It has landing skids or feet or whatever now but
jeez it's still a long way to finishing it.

I visited that link expecting to be disappointed. I thought it would
show the entire (or at least complete enough to be a recognizable
Millenium Falcon) spaceship. I was prepared to bitch about how you
promised us only landing gear and here you were showing us the full
thing.
But instead I got the very basic framework of the construction. I am pleasantly satisfied with this lack of completion. I have nothing to
whinge about. You made my day!
Good work! Keep at it! Have fun!
(Wait... I do have something to gripe about after all. Step #153? What
the fuck, Lego? I've written computer programs that are simpler to
generate.)
