Epic's doing this thing recently and I hate it. Not the 'give away
free games every Thursday'; I like that. What would I write about on Thursdays if Epic stopped its give-aways? But now they're HIDING what
the next game will be until it's actually released. Why is that a
problem? Because now I have to wait like all the other rubes before
writing up my announcement! How can I prepare the weekly spin if I
can't do it the night before! The fiends!

And what game are these fiends offering today?, Well, let's find out.

    * Farming Simulator 22 https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/farming-simulator-22
Huh. This was what Epic felt needed to be kept under
wraps? Not that I really have anything against the game
-after all, who am I, somebody who revels in truck-driving
sims, to speak against one where you drive a combine
harvester?- but this is a pretty humdrum workplace sim...
and one overburdened with DLC to boot. Its reputedly pretty
poorly put together too, with some serious performance
issues; a cash grab to profit off the success of the earlier
"Farming Simulator" games. And despite the trailer's promise
of "free DLC", there don't seem to be an free add-ons
available on the Epic store. Still, The Number compels, so
I must push "Add to Cart".

Well, hopefully Epic won't be so secretive next week (narrator: they
will be). This current trend of 'mystery games' is almost making these announcements feel like work ;-)

I've done good in this world. Now I'm tired and just want to be a cranky
