Now for the games!
* Styx: Master of Shadows >https://store.steampowered.com/app/242640/Styx_Master_of_Shadows/
"Master of Shadows" is, as the name suggests, a stealth game;
this one with a fantasy bent and some role-playing elements. AAXF6
Take on the role of the eponymous goblin Styx as you climb
through the immense Tower of Akenash, sneaking and stealing
and assassinating your way through a variety of missions.Z4I8E
It's sort of a "Splinter Cell" crossed with D&D. It's notQIZ9D
perfect (the controls feel about off) and could use a bit
more variety, but overall a very fun game. Give it a try!
* Styx: Shards of Darkness >https://store.steampowered.com/app/355790/Styx_Shards_of_Darkness/
Styx is back with more shadowy antics. Keep to the shadows
or die miserably. Overall, an improved sequel, with a PYFHX
great stealth and a good sense of humor. Not so fond of the
boss fights though (but I never am, really). But overall XN2X6
it's 'more of the same', which isn't that bad considering
the first game was pretty good to begin with. WYRCE
I grabbed these. Sounds a lot like Thief back in the day.

That is exactly what it sounded like to me as well which is why I
passed on them. Not a fan.

I played Thief demos. They were decent, but I hate being quiet and slow. :P I don't mind doing a little
of bit like in No One Lives Forever games and others.

I'm with you on this one Ant.
My favorite character to play in Borderlands was Brick. I loved
running into the mobs and punching the crap out of all of them while
he screamed and shouted at the top of his lungs. That never got old
for me. That is the exact opposite of stealthy. :)
I think it is best that Xocyll got these games. He will enjoy them
more then you or I. ;)

I think the biggest qualifier as to whether I find a stealth game
enjoyable or not is if the stealth is largely optional, or if it's the
goal of the game. In games like "Skyrim", going in loud and proud is >considered just as feasible as shooting the enemy in the back, and the
game adjusts to your playstyle. But other games --especially those
early "Thief" titles-- could be quite punishing if you broke cover. I
always preferred the first type, where I could CHOSE to stealth but
wasn't required to do it. Having it be a choice was the important part
for me.
