You know what's more fun than racing around the track
at 300kph and winning the gold? Standing on the sidelines
with a clip-board and deciding what tires to buy for the
next race! Wait... that can't be right, can it? Still,
that seems to be the crux of this game: you get to be the
general manager of a race team who makes the decisions
that lets the racers get to the finish line first. I guess
there's some people who see the appeal of games like that?
Not me, though.

Now, as I'm writing this, the above is the only game Epic is offering
for free this week. Hopefully they won't get all sneaky again like
last week and slip in a second game when I'm not looking. What's up
with that, Epic?

Seven days, tick-tock. Seven days to claim the game, or The Numberman
will come and steal your videogame library! OooOoooOooooh!

Tell me about it. At least until they release a strip club management simulator with a casting couch. Or maybe a food truck fleet
management sim where the goal is to try to stay afloat amongst ICE
raids, it could be a lot of fun if they got the gunplay right.

I remember an old colleague gushing about how he played this in the
'80s, with his ZX Spectrum. As I recall, there was a grand total of
three things you could spend your budget on back then, car, engine,
driver.

I assume this is a little more complicated than that but I'll at least
try to take a look.
