And where exactly would one find the user manual explaining exactly
    how much is too much?

About as many licks as it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll
    pop. That's probably too much.

Oh we still have trolls?  How quaint

My guess is it's the same person who used to post the same type of
obvious troll comments I think mainly directed at PW? What happened to
    the art of trolling.

I guess trolls nowadays learn from Elon Musk on Twitter, rather than >SomethingAwful goons.

"They don't make 'em like that anymore"

Whenever I'm in the mood for good quality trolling, there are some
music gear forums that scratch that itch. By good quality, I mean the
folks that know how to do it with skillful technique.. often veiling
the troll post such that a casual onlooker or even AI bot wouldn't be
able to recognize it for what it is without deeper knowledge of the
thread context or that poster's history. Synth nerds and music people
in general to be incredibly smart -- the banter quality is at such a
level beyond gaming related discussions it's hard to even describe.
But, that intellect is also typically reflected in troll posts - the
trolls are just better at what they do. I guess the tactful trolling
has to be that way there.. with blatant juvenile personal insults
they'd just quickly get banned (not a problem here obviously :)

Old school Usenet was a much better contender for the level of
    troll-skills I'm referring to.

    Now back to the game..

"Mouth lesions? The hell! If you think that's something you should
    see the cocksores!" :drops pants:

Ok well.. yeah.. garbage in garbage out I guess. :)

I'm not sure quite how (popularised by the media perhaps) but it's also
become to mean being an obnoxious arsehole online, well unless your name
is Andrew Tate when you're a hero for some strange reason.
