• Schedule I - Seriously..try the demo

From Rin Stowleigh@21:1/5 to All on Fri Apr 11 06:02:54 2025
When I first saw this game, the first thing that entered my mind was
"oh great, another drug dealer simulator, just what the world needs".

But the explosive rise to the top few most played games on Steam got
my attention, so I decided to try the demo. Although I'm not really a
fan of the premise, this game has something special and immersive
about the gameplay that has a way of making you want to find another 5
minutes to play, and I've found this addictive quality to be
    increasingly rare in game releases.

Even if the "Breaking Bad"-like premise of peddling drugs doesn't
appeal to you, I'd highly suggest trying the "free sample" -- because
dollars to donuts most of you will understand the irony of labeling
the demo as that within the first several minutes of gameplay.

I've liked Schedule I thus far.

Keep in mind I *hated* Breaking Bad. Absolutely despised it.

I realized after I described it as a Breaking Bad-like premise, some
might take that to mean there is more of a connection between the TV
series than there is. There's nothing about this game that would
necessarily appeal to a Breaking Bad fan or turn off someone who
doesn't like Breaking Bad. There are some elements of it that remind
me of that, but that's really all.
