Apparently it's not Thursday yet. I don't know why I thought it was.
I'm seeing if I can get it to be Thursday a day early, but I'm not
    sure it will happen.

I really and truly believed it was Thursday when I saw your post. I
didn't question it at all at first. I just went to your link and
wondered why the game was not free.

Um, you're a day early. It's not free yet. ;P

    It's an Indie retro-graphic'd arcade shooter. A
    'bullet-hell', if you would. It's... fine. It's got a
unique mechanic in that you lose energy by shooting
(which seems odd for a game that's all about shooting)
but it does make the game somewhat different from its
contemporaries. It adds a little bit of depth and strategy
that other games of the genre lack. Otherwise... it's a
shooter. If you don't look at "Asteroids" with love, this
isn't going to be your thing. Even if you do reminisce
about those old classics, you'll still probably have to
stifle just a bit of a yawn at this game. It's okay,
but not really very exciting. It's not anywhere worth
its asking price of $15USD, but free? You might as well
    grab it.

Well, that's this week's game. I'll pencil you in for another meet-up
here in seven days, shall I? Until then!

It's Thursday here on the west coast, still not free yet.

I think it ends and starts at 8:00 AM PDT (USA).

It's always Thursday somewhere if you have a time machine.

Apologies to all the confused. The game's free now, though, and will
be for the next week. I sacrificed all of the Internet Points I earned yesterday in recompense, and hopefully will have learned my lesson to
check the date before posting in the future.
