    Not great timing but it is Amazon 'freebies' so I presume pretty much
    all of them have been on a deep discount somewhere. I still nabbed it

    Odd. That happened last month too. I don't know if the blame is on
    Amazon or the publisher. Since the goal - from the publisher's
    standpoint - is to get more people playing your game (either to
    increase word-of-mouth, or increase the number of potential DLC/MTX
    victims), combining a freebie with a discount makes sense.

    Still, it's not a good look for Amazon. It devalues their "Primne
    Gaming" program. You'd think they'd get an agreement with the
    publisher not to discount the game until after the freebie period
    expired.
