Should the subject be "how "not" to install adware"?
Somewhat outdated, but yes, the same thing applies today, when
installing application not obtained from Apple's App Store or trusted
source. More applications used to use this when installing their
application. I see it less today, in the Mac world. Still prevalent in
the PC world. Adobe was always bad when installing Reader, Flash, and
their other free apps.
