Strange error showing on Mac - Notes: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bppbne3bur4u210/Icldfull-why.png

    iMac OS: 10.14.6

This error only shows in Notes (sporadically since yesterday).

    Actual iCloud used: 1.95 GB
    Free: 3 GB
    (iCloud gives 5GB free).

I re-booted the iMac (error does not show on iPhone or iPad).

Next step I may log out of iCloud and back in.

Well, I came here to report - again - that that did -not- in fact fix it.

What starts this behaviour is if I add an image (PNG of about 200 kB) to
the notes: then that triggers the message. And it repeats every 5 - 10
minutes or so - which is very annoying. So have to log out of iCloud
and back in which is not a 1-2-3 sort of thing due to authentication.

I wonder if this is a bug in 10.14 that was fixed in later releases...

Different images of about the same size.

Likewise tons of notes with images. Next time I'll save it as .JPG and
    see what happens.

Possibly. IAC, this iMac will be 2nd stringed sometime this summer...

There is nothing wrong with iOS. Apple does not make mistakes so you must

No, you seem to have a model of “adult” in mind and since you’ve never chastised Jolly Roger for his behavior, perhaps that’s what you consider an “adult”.

No but as I keep testing things (w/o issues) it may be linked to me
    sharing notes with others.

I just did a fresh note share with my SO, no issue so far. I'll try
another image post with others who I have several work related note
shares going on at present. (Half a dozen project status lists).

Also made an error in an earlier post: it's not when I put a PNG into a
note but rather pasting a screen shot into a note. (At some point the
flow is so smooth you gloss over what is actually going on (my excuse
    and I'm sticking to it)).

FWIW, I just did this in macOS 12.6.4 without issue. I don't have any

Also made an error in an earlier post: it's not when I put a PNG into
a note but rather pasting a screen shot into a note. (At some point
the flow is so smooth you gloss over what is actually going on (my
excuse and I'm sticking to it)).

    Interesting.

FWIW, I just did this in macOS 12.6.4 without issue. I don't have any machines nearby running older versions to test, sorry.

    No worries.

So - just tried posting a screen shot section to Notes to one of my work
group notes ... no issue so far.

I've now logged out and back in 2 or 3 times - maybe that has cleared or
    reset something/somewhere. TBD.

Hopefully whatever they announce in June will include the Mac model I
    want to buy.

Well something must explain the fact that you are here commenting about unrelated bullshit in this thread. Should we just assume from your

there's no need to assume, as there is overwhelming evidence.

Well, seems to be a bug.

After several days of no issues, the error came back immediately after
pasting a screen grab to the Notes (a Note shared with client (3 people)).

I also pasted it as a file and it came out to be 1.1MB which I thought
    large for the image...

So I'll try to avoid pasting images there for now - transmit them by
    text or Dropbox instead.

    Pity.
