    Apple is telling you in that video that they market to people in slums.

    I doubt this. And such a video would not be effective if iPhones were
    truly as outrageously expensive as has been alleged. Certainly, the
    effects of advertising would be limited if, in addition to being
    incredibly expensive, iPhones lacked multiple commonly desired
    features, as has also been alleged.

    The guy walking through the slums with the yellow iPhone was wearing thick gold chains and gaudy watches and fancy suits/shoes to pretend to be rich.

    I wouldn't be surprised if Apple didn't advertise him with a gold front
    tooth since the only thing Apple advertised was the guy bought or stole
    that phone so that everyone else in the slum would look up at him in awe.

    It is apparent that have nothing but contempt for the intelligence of
    'slum dwellers'.
