I've been using the "mini.iso" for installing debian onto VMware VMs and
that has worked fine for years. This week I wanted to use that method to install Bookworm, but I now get:
No kernel modules were found. This probably is due to a mismatch between
the kernel used by this version of the installer and the kernel version available in the archive.
The image I got is http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/bookworm/main/installer-amd64/current/images/netboot/mini.iso
The sha1sum of the image I downloaded is c29dca30d20cbc0deadc6eec22e8ff3c2e9c0bf4. I tried other mirrors and they're all the same.
There appears to be only 20230607 and 20230607+deb12u2 both they both point to the same (outdated) iso. I don't see any newer mini.iso images...
All images I download are sha1sum c29dca30d20cbc0deadc6eec22e8ff3c2e9c0bf4....
To be sure we're talking about the same thing, can you post the actual URL
of the image with sha1sum 8b8a7e8b1fc127e8704a63e54a93e84b985ccd4a?
