• Bug#1099562: Enable SEV_GUEST and TSM_REPORTS on cloud amd64

From Dionna Amalie Glaze@21:1/5 to All on Wed Mar 5 01:20:02 2025
    XPost: linux.debian.kernel

    Package: linux-image-cloud-amd64
    Version: 6.7-1
    Severity: wishlist

Confidential computing technologies with manufacturer-rooted remote
attestation capabilities use a configfs subsystem called TSM to make attestation quotes accessible to user space.
For AMD SEV-SNP, the sev-guest driver must be present to be a provider
    of the TSM backend.

The TSM subsystem is available in v6.7-rc1 and is required by current
    GCE confidential compute machine families.

Please add CONFIG_REPORTS=m and CONFIG_SEV_GUEST=m to Linux kernel configuration to enable this capability.
