• Bug#1099796: webext-browserpass: add support for librewolf

From Pirate Praveen@21:1/5 to All on Sat Mar 8 11:20:01 2025
    Package: webext-browserpass
    Version: 3.7.2-1+b19
    Severity: important
Justification: many people are switching to librewolf after mozilla changed firefox TOS that affects privacy
    X-Debbugs-Cc: praveen@debian.org

    Dear Maintainer,

Upstream now supports librewolf, so please package new upstream version and build support for librewolf (possibly other supported browsers as well)

    https://github.com/browserpass/browserpass-native/blob/master/Makefile#L510

With the recent firefox TOS changes[1], many people are switching to LibreWolf. Though Mozilla retracted, many people already switched and will be using it.
