The Fast Light Toolkit (FLTK) is a cross-platform graphical user
interface toolkit originally based on libForms.

https://salsa.debian.org/ucko/fltk1.4 has preliminary packaging as a continuation of my work on previous versions; I've done more than
that by now, and in particular enabled native Wayland support (as
requested in #984620), but have been holding off on pushing them so
that I can rebase as needed without affecting anyone else.

This packaging will take fluid (FLTK's UI designer and code generator)
over from 1.3.x, but upstream has confirmed my assessment that it will
yield 1.4-isms only by explicit request (due to e.g. explicitly using
widgets added in 1.4).

I've historically been a solo maintainer here (as was the previous
FLTK packager), but a (small) team may be in order in the long run.

packages I maintain (Nestopia) is ready to make use of FLTK 1.4 when
it’s packaged. If you’d like some testing or anything like that, let

Thanks! I would appreciate testing in due course, particularly if you
run Wayland natively anywhere.
