Package: debian-installer
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,
BTRFS includes more advanced filesystem features, such as subvolumes, RAID and
transparant compression. It would be excellent if these could be enabled using
Debian Installer without recourse to work arounds. Please consider adding this
during the Stretch development cycle, as BTRFS is becoming much more stable.
See bugs 748724 & 781531 in relation to wishlist items for RAID and specific mount options. I also understand that the Fedora installtion can create and use BTRFS subvolumes.
Thanks in advance.
