    The virtual machine works normally on Debian 12.8 (linux-image-6.1.0-28-amd64), but after upgrading to Debian 12.10 (linux-image-6.1.0-33-amd64), it fails to start. Rolling back the kernel to 6.1.0-28-amd64 allows the virtual machine to start again.
    The error message when it fails to start on 6.1.0-33-amd64 is as follows:
