I am unable to duplicate this failure with a clean install of Debian
    GNOME Trixie.

    What desktop are you using?

Is this an upgrade or a recent new install of Debian?

Have you configured apt to not install recommends? (This isn't common
or recommended but some people do it.)

    Thank you,
