• Bug#1104208: maxima: Why the size of the binary grew by 70 MB?

    From Camm Maguire@21:1/5 to jvpeetz@web.de on Sun Apr 27 20:20:01 2025
Greetings, and thank you so much for your report! I think I can improve
on this, but the hard freeze is on 5/15 and we need 10 days to propagate
    to testing.

    Take care,

    Dear Camm Maguire,

thank you for maintaining this package.
I noticed that upgrading from version 5.47.0-5 to this version the size
of the binary `/usr/lib/maxima/5.47.0/binary-gcl/maxima` increased by
about 70 MB. Any idea why?

    Best Regards,
    Jörg.
