XPost: linux.debian.ports.mips
Dixi quod…
I have a workaround in a package where I (also) build binaries
against Linux klibc to not do that for mipsel and mips64el as
klibc 2.0.13+ needs kernel 5.1+ and some buildds and possibly
other infrastructure or relevant users were still on 4.x kernels
While
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1050872#62
says all buildds are now on the bookworm kernel, eberlin at least
still isn’t, and who knows what else.
This means we have binaries in the archive that don’t run on them.
bye,
//mirabilos, actually not even disliking MIPS
