Hi,
I've uploaded to unstable, a new version of the Ironic source package, that now produces a new "ironic-novncproxy" binary.
It hasn't been yet FTP-master approved, but I'm already opening the bug (the sooner, the better, right?).
Reasoning: Ironic is OpenStack baremetal as a service. With it, it is
possible to use physical server just as if they were VMs. The ironic-novncproxy is a new thing upstream that I missed. If I understand well, it is needed to access the screen of baremetal nodes that Ironic manages in a multi-tenant
way. I don't think it maters much for other packages/DD, as this really is a leaf package, only containing:
- The ironic-novncproxy.service service file
- NoVNC dependency
Also note that this work was done after it was requested to me by upstream,
as the missing service and package is affecting their CI for Debian/Ubuntu.
Please let me know what the release team thinks of this,
Cheers,
Thomas Goirand (zigo)
