Can you clarify what kind of connectivity is available to this system?

Sure, its 1 Gbit/s fiber (symmetrical)
    I've added INFO_THROUGHPUT=1Gb to my ftpsync.conf now.

    Cheers,
    Chris

You have explained what bandwidth is available, not what kind of
connectivity. In which data center is this located?

The mirror is hosted in our own micro data center located in the
industrial area of Baden, Switzerland. The facility is connected to the
Swiss internet backbone through a single upstream provider (iWay AG). Internally, all systems are connected via redundant 10Gbps fiber links,
with dedicated power lines and uninterruptible power supply (UPS)
    systems in place.

Let me know if you need any additional details.

    Cheers,
    Chris
