• Bug#1102724: RM: win32-loader

From Andrea Pappacoda@21:1/5 to All on Mon May 19 09:50:01 2025
    Hi!

I'd be really sad to see win32-loader go away. It has been useful to me
    and others in the past.

I'd be happy to take over whichever task is needed to keep having
    win32-loader in Debian.

Please let me know! Bye :)

    Hi Andrea,
I guess the first task is to figure out what needs to be done. I think
you should consult the current maintainers and depending of feedback
offer to take over the role of maintainer.

This is correct (obv!). Also please note that this bug will get
processed by the ftpteam unless it's marked moreinfo or reassigned. You
may consider doing either -- so long as you follow through and take over maintainership/fix the issues for real or pinkey swear to reassign the
bug back/remove the tag (actually). Maybe set a deadline and calendar
invite as a reminder. Do keep in mind a removal isn't the worst case
here since you may always reupload the package to NEW.

I apologize, I take that back. moreinfo is set, I missed that. Most of
    the point remains, though!
