Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
I install Debian Testing on my Notebook Asus ExpertBook P5 P5405CSA-NZ0101X but after the installation and press Enter in grub, nothing happen.
There are only some logs about ACPI on the screen.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I can connect to the Notebook with SSH. Now I install the pakage firmware-intel-graphics. The notebook should start now in X, but it doesn't.
I have to manualy update my initramfs with:
update-initramfs -u
* What was the outcome of this action?
Now, everything works, the notebook starts in X and I can login.
If I install the pakage, the initramfs should be updated.
