With version 4.5.0 upstream startet to use webkit-gtk and has no intention
to make this optional[2]. I use a Qt-based desktop, have no interest to build another browser engine for a single tool and didn't use pdfpc in over a year (only tested it to verify that it's still working). Therefor I step down as it's proxied maintainer.
The only open bug right now is a stabilization request[3]. Releases are not often (in the order of one or two per year).
