    Ah!! a new link spammer!!

In addition, luk-less replied to a 7-year old article. The last MID in
his References header shows he replied to:

    http://al.howardknight.net/?STYPE=msgid&MSGI=%3Cmgvc3g%24ccg%241%40news.albasani.net%3E

So old is the parent article to which luk-less replied that many NNTP
servers won't have it anymore since it beyond their retention. Google
Groups (the newsgroups they acquired in 2001 from Deja News, and blended
into and confused with their web-based forums) may keep articles for 20
years, but not other NNTP servers. Spammers don't observe posting
datestamps. They hunt on keywords on which to vomit.

Normally I don't see articles by Google Goofballs, but occasionally I
view the ignored/filtered articles to check on the performance of my
filters. Besides a source for uber-boobs, trolls, and malcontents, it
is also a well-known high-volume source for spam. Google is good on
filtering inbound spam, but is wholly ineffective on filtering outbound
spam. For a better view of Usenet, filter out the Google Goofballs.

    He blew it. Big time.

Mindless software advertising will only make perfectly good softwares, look bad.
