    False. Alaska has no personal income tax or state sales tax. Like to see comparison of states cost of living, between Eastern and Western states. Alaska COL is high, but then "subsistence life style" is in our state constitution, and we get all the
    federal supports.

    And then, there are the 11 states with Repub "leadership" that never
    allowed their citizens to get medicaid, meaning thousands of people have
    died because they could not afford doctors or medicine.

    And as a result, those same states have the worst credit records in the country, costing their poorest citizens huge increases in credit costs.

    Alaska is screwed up on Medicaid, because we switched to Denali Care, and don't get the coverage with it for Medicare Supplement, as far as I know.
