    WOODLAWN, Md. —
Traffic camera video shows a car clipping another car moments before it
crashed into the Beltway median, killing six construction workers
    Wednesday afternoon.

The video, obtained Thursday by 11 News from SafetyVid.com, provides a
look from a Maryland Department of Transportation traffic camera that
shows the point of contact between a Volkswagen and an Acura before the
Acura went onto the concrete barrier and overturned.

Also Thursday, Maryland State Police identified the six construction
workers who were killed in the crash.

    Rolando Ruiz, 46, of Laurel
Carlos Orlando Villatoro Escobar, 43, of Frederick
Jose Armando Escobar, 52, of Frederick
Mahlon Simmons III, 31, of Union Bridge
Mahlon Simmons II, 52, of Union Bridge
Sybil Lee Dimaggio, 46, of Glen Burnie
WBAL-TV 11 News reached out to several family members of the victims who
    all declined to comment.

Hours after the crash on Wednesday, state police said the driver of the
Acura, Lisa Adrienna Lea, 54, of Randallstown, was taken Shock Trauma.

Police identified the driver of the Volkswagen as Melachi Brown, 20, of
Windsor Mill. His car broke down north of the scene on the Beltway. He was
not injured, according to police. The 11 News I-Team reached out to Brown
but was unable to reach him.

Police said troopers were called around 12:40 p.m. for reports of a
pedestrian struck at a work zone on the Inner Loop of the Beltway near
    Security Boulevard.

A preliminary investigation indicates Lea tried to change lanes. As she
tried to move into the left lane, police said they believe her vehicle
struck the front corner panel on the passenger side of the Volkswagen.
Crash investigators believe this caused the Acura to lose control and go
into the work zone, where the crash occurred.
