    Adding your details in etc/news/newsfeed gives me:

    eternal-september, Use of uninitialized value $defsub in string ne at /usr/lib/news/bin/inncheck line 766, <$IN> line 4.
    ME, controlchan!, /etc/news/newsfeeds:2: undefined multiplex `innfeed!'
    done.

    by "sudo -u news /usr/lib/news/bin/inncheck -av --pedantic".

    I have found the issue for undefined multiplex `innfeed!.
    etc/news/newsfeed file was missing

    # innfeed funnel master.
    innfeed!\
    :!*\
    :Tc,Wnm*:/usr/lib/news/bin/innfeed

    I'm all set for peering
