• I can't find my news reader

From Ken Blake@21:1/5 to All on Sat Feb 19 21:47:55 2022
On my computer was my newsreader.

    But now it's gone.

    Where did it go?

"It was a good newsreader, as newsreaders go.

And, as good newsreaders go, it went."

And speaking of newsreaders I note from your headers that you are a
little behind the cutting edge with your copy of slrn:

    User-Agent: slrn/1.0.3 (Linux)

Something that would not have happened in the old days :)

If Usenet were full of valuable discussions, my interest in slrn
    development might revive.

But it isn't, so it won't.

OT: Have you read Aristotle? I'm working my way through the old Loeb
edition at the rate of ten pages a day, and I increasingly find that the
Greek is vastly more lucid than Mr Rackham's English.

With some shame I have to say that for many years I allowed my Greek to
lapse. But now in retirement I am revisiting...
