Recommended Kurosawa:
Beyond the obvious, such as "Yojimbo" and "Seven Samurai" -- one of the greatest films ever made and, believe me, that term underrates it -- just about
everything Kurosawa directed is worth watching; even the low points like "Akira
Kurosawa's Dreams" and "Rhapsody in August". But if I had to pick ten that are
essential without the benefit of being well-known, this is what they'd probably
be:
"Stray Dog"
"One Wonderful Sunday"
"High and Low"
"Drunken Angel"
"The Bad Sleep Well"
"Ikiru"
"I Live in Fear"
"The Idiot"

I saw 'Madadayo' and very much liked it, and Kurosawa is said to be an excellent director... but browsing his works at IMDB there doesn't seem
to be much renouned movies... what is his most defining work? Give some recommendations pls.
