Wait a sec. NINE of them? I only caught 4 or 5. Hmm, looks like
some of them were initially "broadcast" on the premium channels.

The quality of the earlier movies was significantly better with the
original production team versus Selleck taking over production and
directing a couple of them. I'll watch it but I don't have much hope
it'll capture the magic. The dog will have to be recast.

If we're going to get sequels..., what I'd like to see:
a: a followup to IKE. Yes, Selleck had a real role, portraying
General Eisenhower in the run up and beginning of D-Day.
Not sure how to do it (and, of course, Selleck is decades older),
but it was good enough I'd cross my fingers.
b: a followup to "Certain Prey". No, not for Mark Harmon,

That's unfortunate. Mind you, now that I think about it, I *did* start watching Quigley Down Under once and didn't like it enough to stay to
the end. I also watched at least a part of one episode of Magnum P.I.
but I'm not sure I finished that either. I decided it was just too ridiculously improbable that a guy who was operating a helicopter, which
must be an expensive beast, could lend it to his friend Magnum pretty
much any time he needed it. Surely he'd have to prioritize paying
customers so that he'd have some hope of keeping the helicopter and maintaining his business. (I had similar objections to The Practice as
Bobby and crew eventually had nearly all their clients being "old
friends" who presumably got free or heavily-discounted legal work.)

Same complaint about THE EQUALIZER. Seems like every client she takes, she doesn't charge them because they're such good people who are in a bad spot. One wonders, then, how she pays her bills.

I’ve been laid up for two weeks come yesterday. First week in the hospital now in a rehabilitation center started out as diet complications from diabetes. Now they’re trying to cure me from all the side effects of the stuff they did to me.
