• LOtR edition on acid-free paper

From Douglas@21:1/5 to All on Mon Dec 12 16:04:41 2022
Is anyone aware of an edition of _Lord of the Rings_ printed on
acid-free paper (either a one-volume edition or as three separate
books)? I'm finding this information surprisingly hard to determine from
Amazon listings and other online catalogs.

Any information about this would be welcome, thanks!

Most quality hardbacks have been acid-free for 20-30 years. My
impression is that most paperbacks are too, these days, though I no
    longer buy many books.

I'd be very surprised if the current hardbacks are not.

The only way to be sure is to ask the publisher.

Note that the American publishing of Tolkien books is now
in the hands of William Morrow, though Houghton Mifflin Harcourt
printings remain on bookstore shelves until exhausted.
