From Richard Smith@21:1/5 to All on Mon Jul 10 16:12:00 2023
Copy of "hustling" message on "LinkedIn".
The elevation of my perspective and the confidence on my feet/
foundations has gone rapid upwards recently.

I had a lot of confidence knocked out of me by a succession of knocks
whose combined effect I could not disentangle and comprehend until I
    reached being older and wiser.

Message might be quixotic, but in what way is that my problem?! :-)

    Copy of message...

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

With my 60th birthday imminent, I am granted a grand overview of
    technical endeavour.

These are commercially high-value topics I have developed an interest
in. I present these specific interests, for anyone who is themselves
wrestling with these issues and wants to interact. Seen on my own
"weldsmith" website. Both are about observations I seek to test again
and find if they can be reliably replicated as part of a design basis:

    *
    Fatigue-resistant welds
The indication is that cyclic stresses welded steel structures could
bear could be at-least doubled. http://weldsmith.co.uk/tech/fatgres/210209_hiperfstrlstl_intro/210209_hiperfstrlstl_intro.html
"Invitation to take interest in high-performance steel structures for cyclic-loading ("fatiguing") applications"

    * Aluminium MIG / Aluminum GMAW quality-controlled welds
I suspect pre-electronics welding conditions used in the USA give the
best welds achievable for most Ali welds at greater than 3mm =
    1/8th-inch thickness http://weldsmith.co.uk/tech/welding/weld_qual/221128_alimig/221128_ali_mig_qualctrl.html
"Ali MIG/GMAW welding with quality control"

I am easy to contact when on my website

My CV can be read at
    http://weldsmith.co.uk/cv/

I am currently busy with residential buildings renovation, but could
give full attention on these topics if offered a suitable role.

That might get you an (unenviable) position negotiating Union contracts.

    Mind explaining?

You claimed strong knowledge of the technical problems and skill at
negotiating a solution to a difficult conflict of interests on the Turkish bridge project. That's a rare combination of abilities and qualification to
be handed more messy problems. My brother fell into that situation, hired to close down failing companies.

    Ahh, I see.
    No "danger" of that here...
